The Project Koru Mission:

Enrich lives through community and the outdoors as a way to move forward beyond cancer.

Our Values: Community, Adventure, Empowerment

We are: Project Growth • Project Strength • Project Peace • Project Life • Project You • Project Koru!

We started with a vision:

A world where young adult cancer survivors find community and empowerment in their survivorship.

So we created our signature program, Camp Koru: a week-long journey designed to inspire human connection, personal growth, & healing.

But when a bunch of fired-up, empowered young adult cancer survivors get together and realize they can change the world…. they do.

And so, either through a happy accident or fate itself, we became so much more!

“Surfing helped me overcome some of my fears around being able to be really active as well as be comfortable with my body image post-surgery.”

-Camp Koru Alumni

Project Koru is:

A survivor led community.
Of 600+ young adult cancer survivors.

Who are committed to living every day to the fullest!
