The next wave and new name of Kiteboard 4 Cancer (KB4C)
A Project Koru Event & Fundraiser
We unite athletes, supporters, and cancer survivors to rise above personal limits, conquer challenges, and drive the Project Koru mission forward.
CREST & CONQUER | A PROJECT KORU EVENT
Project Koru is thrilled to announce the rebrand of its beloved flagship event, formerly known as Kiteboarding for Cancer (KB4C), to Crest & Conquer. This bold new identity reflects the event’s growth and evolution while maintaining the high-energy spirit of competition and connection that has defined it for nearly two decades.
While the name may be new, Crest & Conquer pays tribute to everything people have come to love about KB4C. “Crest & Conquer is all about celebrating resilience, pushing limits, and coming together for a purpose,” says Project Koru’s Executive Director Beth Peck. “It’s a competitive event that continues to inspire athletes, adventurers, and supporters to make a real difference in the lives of cancer survivors.”
Crest & Conquer is more than kiteboarding—it’s the economic engine that drives Project Koru’s mission. Funds raised through the event enable Project Koru to offer life-changing adventure-based programs for young cancer survivors, helping them rebuild strength and confidence. From endurance races on the water to community celebrations, Crest & Conquer embodies the spirit of pushing limits and giving back.
While the former KB4C events have always drawn participants for its high-energy challenges and camaraderie, the rebrand aims to deepen attendees’ connection to the cause. By highlighting survivor stories and the impact of their contributions, Project Koru seeks to inspire even more people to join the movement and support its mission. From the thrilling competitions to the unforgettable community atmosphere, Crest & Conquer will continue to deliver the same high-caliber experience that participants and supporters have come to expect.
