Fall camps are back!
To our Ohana,
I hope this finds you happy, healthy, and ready to take on the changes of the season. At Project Koru, this means using difficult times to chart new paths so we can continue to do what we set out to do; enrich lives through community and the outdoors as a way to move forward beyond cancer.
Our number one priority is to continue serving the over 700 survivors on our waitlist, some of whom have been waiting for our support for years. That’s why we are so excited to announce that Fall surf camps are back! We’ve shifted how we do our work to ensure each participant stays safe and healthy while still having the opportunity to reclaim and rediscover the best version of their life and themselves.
We are thinking outside the box to continue building a community of young adult cancer survivors to help each other on their toughest challenge yet - life beyond cancer - while following all CDC, state and local guidelines. For more information on Project Koru’s COVID safety measures, click here.
To our community - survivors, donors, supporters, kiters, adventurers, seekers, creators, life-livers - thank you for believing in us, for being here to cheer us on as we catch the waves, and to help us back up during the lows. Thank you for leading with your light, your spirit, and your love. Thank you for being a part of Project Koru. We couldn’t do any of this without you.
To a brighter future,
Beth Peck
